How it looks in practice
Robin Vale lived the old loop. All his focus on one woman. He remembered the spark and forgot the details.
He opened Lanes, chose New lane, picked Dating, and selected Create. The columns are bars he cares about: Matched, Wants kids, Same city long-term, Clear on exclusivity. A woman moves into a column only when a real talk about it shows she meets that bar. He can rename or add stages when his must-haves grow.
He keeps a few women on the board at once. Nina Sato and Priya Raman sit in Matched. Dana Okoye is in Wants kids after coffee, when she said she absolutely wants children — Robin logged that in the move note. When someone fails a later bar, he removes her from the lane and stops pouring weeks into a dead end.
The lane shows where each person stands against his requirements. Memories hold what he must not forget.
On Dana’s card he logs Preferences, Facts, and Significant Experiences: no shellfish, works nights, absolutely wants kids, loves hiking but hates surprise parties. Before the next date he opens Ask AI Assistant and asks what he should remember. The reply pulls from those notes so he does not repeat a miss he already paid for.
Dating gets calmer. He still cares. He just stops guessing. Several people can move through his gates at once. The ones who clear the bars keep his time. The ones who do not leave the board without a long, one-sided spiral.
