Contact memories

Each contact page has Memories for notes and knowledge about that person. Defaults include Significant Experiences, Facts, Preferences, and Notes. You can add more categories.

1. Open a contact from Contacts or header search.
2. In Memories, the New memory form is already open. Pick a Category (each has a color). Write in Content. If the category uses dates, set Happened.
3. Choose Add memory. The form stays open for another memory. Choose Close to hide it, or Add a memory to open it again.
4. To change a memory later, open it, edit, and choose Save changes or Delete. After save or delete, the empty New memory form opens again.
5. Use Search memories… to find text by body or category name.
6. Choose Manage to rename categories, recolor them, toggle Happened date, or Delete unused ones. Use + New to add a category.

Memories tagged From contact card sync with the contact’s notes field in your address book when iCloud or Google Contacts is connected. You can edit them here, but you cannot delete or recategorize them. For a fast memory from the board, see Contacts board.
