Prepare for a sync-up

Use Prepare on a contact to open Ask AI with a short memory brief and three questions to deepen the relationship.

Prepare gives you a one-tap sync-up brief before a call, coffee, or catch-up. Memlane opens Ask AI Assistant for that person, summarizes recent memories, and suggests three questions or prompts that help deepen the relationship.

Prepare sync-up brief

  1. Open a contact (not your own card — Prepare stays hidden there).
  2. In the header, next to the favorite star, choose Prepare.
  3. Ask AI opens for that person and sends the brief prompt for you. You see your message in the chat, then the reply.
  4. Read the memory summary and the three questions. Use them in the real conversation, or ask a follow-up in the same chat.

The brief uses recent contact memories already on the card. Thin notes still get a careful reply — add clearer memories when you can.
