Ready To Sync
Definition of “Ready To Sync”: A state that Contacts can be in within the app. The state indicates it’s time to reach out to the Contact in person or over the phone.
If you’re familiar with Favorite Contact Sync Reminders, you’ll know that they trigger a monthly Ready To Sync state for a specific Contact. But what if a Contact isn’t a Favorite? Can they also show as Ready To Sync? Yep! They sure can!
Often I find myself in the middle of a work day or even laying in bed at night and have a great idea about something cool to share with one of my friends, or even someone I just met. I would easily forget to reach out after a busy day or the next morning. Most of the time forgetting what it was I even wanted to share with them.
In Memlane, I can easily open the app, create a MEM describing what I need to share with someone, and then mark the MEM as Sync before I link it to the Contact.
Each Contact has its amount of Pending Sync MEMs. You can change this on their Contact screen, but also globally under Settings (does not override individual settings). Once enough MEMs are created and linked as Sync, the Contact will go into Ready To Sync.
