Memlane is a product of ONLYHUMN LLC. We are a team that wants to return technology to be in service of humans and bettering our lives, not consuming our precious time and attention.

App Specific
What we collect
In order for the app to function, we require your email address. We allow users to input any email they want but automatically collect the primary email for the Google and Apple signup/login features once you trigger them in the app. For iPhone users, the email can be masked with Apple’s Hide My Email, but we don’t recommend it.
User created MEMs (Memories) and their linked Contacts will be stored in a database the Memlane team has access to in order to maintain the data integrity and security as well as further develop the App. MEMs are encrypted, so our team cannot see the contents. We use appropriate and trusted transmission security methods to send encrypted information to and from the app and our database for storage and availability across all devices you have Memlane on. This information is NEVER EVER SHARED WITH ANYONE OR ANY OTHER SERVICE, EVER.
However, despite our safeguards and efforts to protect your data, no electronic transmission on the Internet or storage technology (database) can be 100% secure. We can’t promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to breach our security and unlawfully collect, access, steal or alter your data. We will do our absolute best to protect your information. However, transmission of personal information to and from our App and database is at your own risk. Do not use the app on insecure networks and devices.
Use of Contacts
Memlane needs access to your contacts and also to send you notifications. For Apple iPhone users, we only need read access. For Android users, we will allow read and write access, but only to star/favorite users. Memlane cannot delete your contacts. Memlane will not automatically change any data until you make a change in the app that needs to change the actual contact. Further, contacts are obtained at app load and not stored in any database anywhere.
